Guardian Trust has announced the appointment of three senior management positions to complement the new leadership team.
Stephen Stewart has been appointed to the role of Head of Distribution, with responsibility for the leadership and development of the company’s national office network. Before joining Suncorp, Stephen held senior management positions with New Zealand Funds Management and Westpac and in the trustee industry, in which he served for several years as Regional Manager for Trustee Executors in Wellington.
Cathy Stephenson has been appointed to the role of National Operations Manager. Cathy, who is leading change management and project activities at Suncorp to date, will have responsibility for the assessment and implementation of changes to the company’s operational areas.
Phil Morgan-Rees has been appointed to the role of Head of Product Management & Marketing. In addition to joining Guardian Trust’s senior management team, Phil will continue to hold his existing position as Head of Product Management for Suncorp Investments and Superannuation as part of his new role. Since joining the Suncorp Group in 2008 from ABN Amro Craigs, he has led investment product management for Guardian Trust, Asteron and Tyndall Investment Management.
